Welcome to the new and improved employment section! Your character needs to have a job of some kind in Genessia to support themselves. There are loads of jobs available of every type imaginable, so even if you don't see your specific preference on the list, feel free to apply for a position. Though moderators may make adjustments based on the setting or mechanics, you will be notified if this is the case before your employment decision is set in stone.

FIRST, SOME IMPORTANT NOTES:
Your character must have a steady source of income in order to maintain Housing, especially if they're not living in one of the free apartments. While commissions/individual bounty hunts may provide some income, it's not considered a steady stream to maintain housing payments.

Some jobs pay more than others, but essentially every job has a base livable income. Your character does not need 3 jobs to support themselves and doing so may interfere with their lives ICly. We do not recommend having your character have multiple jobs unless they are part-time or your character is canonically a workaholic. Full-time jobs are 40 hours a week, please remember that most characters do not have infinite time/energy when selecting jobs.

Characters can have essentially any job they want unless it is a character-run business, they are woefully underqualified (ex: Homer Simpson cannot be a medical doctor), or it is an election-only position.
